The last 12 months have seen Christian music fans spoilt for choice, with Riley Clemmons, Jeremy Camp, We Are Messengers and for KING + COUNTRY taking to stages across Australia.

If you’ve attended one, or all those shows, and you’ve got the urge for more live music, you’re in luck! Early July will see US band The Afters touring Eastern Australian locations with a couple of Aussies in tow.

Nathan Tasker will open for The Afters at their Sunshine Coast, Toowoomba and Canberra ticketed concerts, while Paul Colman will also headline at Toowoomba. The band will give free performances in both Gympie and Gold Coast.

Josh Havens, lead vocalist for The Afters, said the band was excited to be heading back to Australia.

“It’s going to be so good to be back – we’ve always loved our experiences in Australia and everyone was so wonderful to us. We’ve been friends with Paul Colman for many years, and we’re just so excited he can join us on stage.”

The Afters have had a swag of radio hits including Never Going Back to OK, Light Up the Sky, Every Good Thing and Battles, and have achieved over 1 billion streams across their career.

They were named New Artist of the Year at the 2006 GMA Dove Awards, winning again in 2009 (Rock Album of the Year) and 2016 (Short Form Video of the Year).
